NFL's Cardinals Move Camp After Virus Scare

TEMPE, Ariz. -- The Arizona Cardinals announced that the team will move its 2005 training camp from Northern Arizona University because of a norovirus outbreak on the campus.
Arizona's current training camp site is in Flagstaff, but a new location has yet to be determined.
"Since becoming aware of the situation at NAU, we've spent a considerable amount of time in discussions with university officials, outside health professionals and our own medical personnel to determine the best course of action," said Cardinals VP of Football Operations Rod Graves.

"Naturally, we're deeply disappointed," said NAU president John D. Haeger. "The Cardinals visited with us extensively and explored a number of possibilities to make this work for the 2005 training camp. We certainly understand their concerns and respect their decision. We'll miss them in Flagstaff this year, but look forward to opportunities to work with the Cardinals organization in the future." - NFL Football -
A possible location for the Cardinals is Prescott, where the team worked out for a week last season and is scheduled to practice in late August. - NFL Football -
